This ends now.

The Brute engaged The Quiet in the sky. It blasted it with fire, smoke and destruction to no avail. The Quiet just devoured it's attacks like it had countless universes before. The Brute launched itself up at The Quiet and I figured it stood no chance. It's body began to glow with a powerful light that seared my eyes and suddenly there was a crack. Like a shattering mirror spidery cracks spread through the nothingness from the point where The Brute's arms speared into The Quiet. He started to pull his hands apart and a sound like existence screaming filled the air as something began to appear in the center. The Brute was ripping open a hole in nothingness... A hole to another universe? A hole to the core of The Quiet. I don't know. But as the hole widened I saw things. I saw life, people, a happy living universe. Then I felt The brute's gaze on this new universe as well and knew that this universe would be destroyed just as mine had. Tha I would again be the harbringer of the end of life and beauty.

I never wanted any of this... I decided I wouldn't let it happen... I turned to The Dying Man.

Me: I have to stop this!

DM: There's only one way.

Me: How!?

DM: You are The Brute. You are the connection through which he can exist...

Me: I have to die?

DM: He will realize what you're doing. You won't have much time.

Me: I don't have a weapon!

DM: You're the god damned Brute you are a weapon!

I realized what he meant. I had done it once before I could do it again now. I formed a blade out of the air as I had, what felt like so long ago, in my fight with The Faceless Bastard. I heard The Brute roar it had realized what I was about to do. It wasn't going to stop me. I wouldn't let it.

This ends now.

Sunday 1 June 2983

The Brute is still searching for things to destroy.

I don't know what could possibly be left...

It killed The Rake, The Black Dog, The Wooden Girl, Hell it killed everything it could possibly reach.Empty City just up and closed all it's doors a long time ago... What could The Brute possibly be after now?

Wait Dying Man's back...

DM: It wants an escape.

Huh?

DM: A hole to another universe where it could do this all again.

Where could it find such a hole?

DM: It's already found it.

I was about to respond when I noticed The Brute was staring at something. It looked like a small crack in the sky.

It took me a few minutes but I think I know what I'm looking at...

I think The Brute's about to try and kill The Quiet...

Monday 20 April 2172

We found Slendy.

Well The Brute found him. He shoved his hand through space and time (Or whatever) and ripped him out of the Path of Black Leaves. He then grabbed hold of slendy's head and lower half and began to stretch him. I guess he wanted to see how tall Slendy could get.

Ok it's been 3 days and I'm beginning to think the answer is Slendy can stretch as much as he wants... The Brute has apparently come to the same conclusion and has now just crushed him into a tiny ball and roasted him until there was nothing left.

Something strange happened then. Life returned. The entire planet suddenly became a bustling world of activity again. It... It was beautiful... I wept... I'd missed seeing this world the way it had been... It's been dead for so long... The creature behind me took full form as I marveled at this world. It was The Dying Man. More accurately it was the powerless remains of The Dying Man absorbed by The Brute. He began to speak.

"Do you like what you see?"

I nodded.

"Do you know who took this away?"

My mouth spoke before I'd thought the words. "I did."

"Yes. You can't put it back the way it was but you can make make up for it."

"How?"

"Stop The Brute."

"How can I stop him?"

"Easy. You are-"

He stopped speaking and disappeared. Meanwhile The Brute had found the cause of the earth's sudden replenishment. In the sky a beautiful creature hovered. It was like the picture of an angel but more glorious and fearsome than those pictures can even suggest. I knew what it was immediately. It was The Archangel. Not its true form... I know this. It doesn't have a true form. Not a physical one anyways. Just its most majestic form. The Brute reached for it and it didn't move. The Brute grabbed it by it's wings and began to pull. The creature was staring but not at The Brute. It was staring directly at me. Not with hatred, or rage or anything like that but with... kindness. The Brute tore it in half. Where it had been there was something that looked like a lantern. The Brute crushed it and The World immediately died again...

I don't want to be here anymore.

I'm not sure I even want to be anymore.

Burning down forests and feels like it's been years since I last updated.

The Brute has gone on the offensive now. As opposed for waiting for the fears to attack him he's started hunting them down.

The Brute attacked the slender man in Black Forest. You probably already know what that is but if not it's a forest in germany.

Huh I wonder if the black forest has any connection to The Path of Black Leaves... Probably not.

Regardless The Brute tried to attack the slender man in The Black Forest but... Well slendy is apparently pretty crafty. He disappeared into the trees and despite breaking quite a few trees The Brute couldn't find him. So eventually he just burned down the whole forest. What was left was a wasteland of charred stumps but still no slendy.

I must say I'm impressed.

The Brute seems pissed though.

That weird shape in the grove has started to take the form of a person sort of. still no clue what it is but now it has vague eye shaped green lights in what I assume is it's head which seem to be watching me.

Still not worried as long as The Brute isn't but I'm not gonna take my eyes off it either.

Time warped.

So it seems almost two months have passed since my last post. Which was yesterday. The death of fears is starting to cause issues in reality and yet the fighting continues.

The Blind Man and Convocation attacked The Brute recently. It wasn't much of a fight. The lightning temporarily distorted The Brute's form when it hit but I don't even know what The Blind Man was trying to do. He didn't attack or anything and he seemed to be trying to get The Convocation to leave. I felt absolute hatred from The Brute though and he crushed The Blind Man then focused his attention on The Convocation. They were an annoyance at best though. The Intrusion arrived and the two swarmed The Brute but the smoke and flames that surround him and cover him dealt with the intrusion without The Brute even needing to act. After there were about just a few birds left they tried to flee but The Brute... Well he basically shot out an immense jet of flame immolating them as they flew away. The fears are dying like, pardon the pun, flies.

I'm really not sure anymore. After this is over what will be left? What is the point of The Brute? If he destroys everything what will be left for him or me?

Oh also a strange shadow has begun to appear in The Grove. I didn't let it in. The Brute does not seem concerned so I'm not worried but it's kind of strange.

Human Nature: Weakness

I have been a fool and I have learned.

I still don't understand entirely how it works but I have been figuring it out. I am a part of The Brute. That is why I know what's happening outside of his domain despite staying in here. As a part of him I have access to the domain and the ability to grant or restrict access. So when my mother who had been killed by The faceless Bastard was suddenly speaking to me asking for access I didn't think. I let her in and the moment she appeared she hugged me. At that point I came to my senses but it was far too late. I'm not sure how it was done. My guess is The Archangel and Dying Man working together but somehow my mother had been brought back and then possessed by The Dying Man in an attempt to get to me and kill me. See, as The Dying Man explained, The ritual used to bring back the brute bound him to me. His power is focused through me. If I die his power drains. The plan probably would of worked if it wasn't for what I said earlier. I am a part of The Brute.

The Dying Man entered my body and began assuming control. I couldn't change to my gas form due to his influence. I could feel myself losing control and then I felt a massive surge of power. I could see The Dying Man in my head and then a giant hand made of smoke and flame came down crushing him. I heard him roaring in pain and anger and then silence. The Dying man wasn't finished yet but he was transferred. The Dying Man's power had grown exponentially somehow during the final days of the earth and while he was still nowhere near as powerful as The Brute he wasn't that easy to destroy. The Brute had pulled him out of me and into it's main mass to properly crush it. I could see them fighting inside of it's mind. The fight was incredibly one sided. The Dying Man couldn't take control and couldn't fight back. He was destroyed by The Brute. Every blow destroying portions of him until nothing was left.

Two fears down and lesson learned. I need to be much more careful.

The Death of those who cannot die.

So I mentioned that a Fear has died. I meant it. The Brute and The Plague Doctor fought for a long time. With each passing moment The Brute seemed to get stronger until he finally overpowered The Plague Doctor and... Well he destroyed him. I don't know if one can really call him dead but The Brute knocked him to the ground and then proceeded to light him up like a flamethrower until he turned into a cloud of green gas and then dissipated into the air. The plague stopped immediately and there has been no other sighting of The Plague Doctor. So I'm pretty sure he's been destroyed.

I have a theory as to why The brute is still getting stronger. I think he's feeding off his war against The Fears. Every time they attack him his power grows. They have no way to win.
